i recently set up a bareknuckle frame i bought used with a 27.0mm post in it that seems to fit perfectly. anyone else have a bareknuckle like this? every online retailer selling them that i've seen lists the seatpost size as 27.2.

Mine is definitely 27.2. .2mm is pretty small, it's possible someone in the paint booth just got a little wild with the spraygun and painted inside the binder lug...

Or the seat post being used has been painted.

I created a similar post to this a couple of weeks ago. It took a lot of grease and effort to get a 27.2 seatpost into my bareknuckle for the first time. I tried two seatposts just to make sure it wasn't a defective seatpost causing the problem. There was no paint in the seattube but feeling around in there it didn't feel perfectly smooth. I tried scouring the internet to find variations in the seatpost sizes for bareknuckles, but everyone says 27.2. When i buy a real nice seatpost for my bareknuckle I'm going to go with a 27.0 so I don't scratch the hell out of the post putting it in.
