I have an opertunity to visit the Centralia area this spring, and was wondering about places to ride. Are there any dedicated bike paths? What about mountain bike trails? (I could bring my road bike or mountain bike) the flatter the better, gravity really likes me.

the western chehalis trail runs from Lacey to Rainier and down to Tenino or up to Yelm. there are several rides and routes that take one out of Centralia a bit and run you over some good hills, if that is your thing. There is a Thurston county bike map but am not sure about Lewis, where Centralia is. I live 6 miles north of Centralia and have plenty of loops to ride. Out of Olympia there are bike lanes and good rides near town.
have fun

I'm not aware any bike paths or mountain bike trails. Finding flat areas to ride shouldn't be a problem. If you want to PM me with how far you would like to ride, and how comfortable you are with traffic I can give you some different ride ideas. Most of the rural roads have narrow shoulders, chip seal, and light traffic.
