I have some Ritchey road bike Rims that say something about Cross SPort or something like that, anyway I was putting a 700mm tire on them yesterday and it doesn't seem to fit right, it gets 2 low spots in the tire directly opposite eachother on the wheels circumfrence, like the tire just goes down into the rim there. I just got the idea that this may be a 27 inch rim and not a 700mm. Would that cause the tire to do that?

I have used 700mm tires on these wheels before, long long time ago, but I can't remember which one, of the three tires I had laying around everyone got the low spots in it.

You would know if the rims were 27" 700C tires wouldnt come close to fitting. Sometimes what your describing just happens. Inflate the tires to 30psi and seat them by hand. Push down on the high spots and pull up on the low spots.
