Putting a new spin on an old classic, the "world's most famous mountain bike trail" in Moab, Utah ... rolled last week on my 20s ... enjoy!

END.

Slickrock was just part of an amazing mid-winter week here in da Mohab. I also rode Sovereign Singletrack, Klondike Bluffs / Baby Steps, and Amasa Back, before finally exhausting myself on the epic Gemini Bridges to Gold Bar to Blue Dot to Poison Spider (with a little hike halfway down Portal just to see what that's really like). Helluva day, that one. Did not see another soul.

Next up: Arizona. But first, a nap! :D

I agree. Could you put some unedited photos of their awesome entirety?

Whoops, sorry for the eye pain! ;) Guess I should have been more clear about my concept here. You see, I originally posted this on mtbr.com for an audience who has probably seen so many Slickrock photos they'd puke if they saw another one. So I decided to "remix" the thing with a mixture of garish and soothing effects. High concept, ya know?

However, over here in folding bike land, you guys are probably not sick of seeing Moab in its natural glory, so I've made a page full of the "plain" versions of these pictures (like the one below) and put them on our website, click here (http://www.debcar.com/Story-SlickrockPlain.htm).

Hope y'all like those better!

^ Just wondering, do you get any comments from regular mountainbikers about your 20 incher?

I prefer your photos without the editing. There is merit to the use of photoshop if it enhances the image - the heavy-handed use of filters just seems out of place.

Looks like great fun. I'd happily trade our February-thaw mud for slick rock.
