"scrue local bike shops" uh, what do you think Albes is? I used to shop there all the time. And what the hell is wrong with this kids bike? Sounds like you are a dumb ass.

WC, the shop you got those spokes from should refund your money for you that is if you told them to begin with what hubs and what rims you were going to use for this new set of wheels. And why didn't you just get the whole thing at the shop that was going to lace them up for you?

OK now lets get an age check from you. I am 33 and I rode BMX since I was 12. Hmmmmmm.... now thats a good 21 years of history and riding experiance. Now what exactly is it that you are going to tell me about the bikes or the riding?

Wow thats all pretty new stuff. how about you tell me about backflips and who it was that started those things. how about tailwhip airs? how about who created the gyro? how about what does the S stand for in S&M bikes? Who was on the first BMX Action trick team? Who created the POTTS mod? Tell me a little about the first BMX frames as we know them. What was Hoffmans first major sponsor? BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. I could keep them coming if you like.

And what the hell are you doing on this thing anyway. Shouldn't you be out riding right now?

adan
05-04-04, 11:06 PM
lets see, the first backflips were done were done with peoples feet duck taped or shoe tyed to the pedals if i recall, s= steve, tail whip airs umm Eddie Roman?, odyssey, bmx frames evolved from the old scwhin fast back/sting ray bikes(got a 71 in my garage)

hammye

backflips=Jose Yanez. look, I could keep this up all night but I really don't care about you. Just go ride and be concerned about yourself and not what others are riding. Thats all that matters when riding anyways. Oh and by the way, Eddie Roman was famous for doing skunk flips not tail whips. That honor actually goes to a member of team DiamondBack. You got a 50/50 chance of getting it right.

Oh and it should read first major sponsor. which was Skyway. They made Tuff wheels and some very bad frames. Vic Murphy(dirt brother #1) used the TA for his Dirt brother line of frames.

MAD DOG. Just like moellers nick name at the time. Old issue of Homeboy magazine. Good photos of Moeller wearing undies on his head. Bonus points if you can tell me who it was that shot the photos. Think movie director.

Just wonderful, I'm the old dude now. You know back in my day......... Look in all my time riding BMX all I ever cared about was just plain ol' riding. Granted I am a fountain of worthless trivia, but that just comes from reading all those mags for years and years. I really don't know where I am going with this rant so I will just end it.

I remember his first picture in Freestylin. he hand colored a black and white of someone (himself?) doing an air on a quarter pipe.
