Has anyone else who commutes/rides past Moffett Field noticed that the old P-2 Neptune that used be a gate guard on the base has been moved to the flightline in the last month or so? Better yet, does anyone know why?
This (http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=37.407895,-122.051298&spn=0.003882,0.005348&t=h&z=18) is the plane in question, and it's been moved onto the ramp just off the right side of the frame.
