Hi,
So my bike has a problem-
In short, my rear tire won't A) hold air and B) stay aligned. Most noticeably when shifting gears.
Possible exacerbating conditions - wheel on too tight? Misaligned?
It has new tubes and new tires. Blerg
Suggestions?

So (A) something is cutting your new tubes. The first thing to do is find out where the cuts are and determine if there is anything in the rim or the tire that could be causing those cuts.
(B) Is the tire not aligned to the rim, or is the wheel not seated in the dropouts straight, or does the rim appear to be bent as it passes between the brake pads?
Your next assignment is to examine your bike and tires and tubes and reply to these questions as precisely as possible.

check around the base of the valve of your popped tubes. if the edges of the valve hole(in the rim) are sharp and exposed they will destroy your tube every time. These punctures are also generally unpatchable.
