Hi. I am called Tom.

I have a Giant Yukon hard tail that I love, but have recently considered getting a pure road bike and I need some help picking a size.

I am 5' 11" with an inseam of 32.5". I looked at a 54cm Giant today and it felt a little small. Can someone help me out with what size of bike I need?

Thanks and I look forward to gaining the knowledge that this community has to offer.

Hi - I'm in Austin too. Also about the same size as you and I ride a 56cm. I happen to ride/race a Giant TCR and take the M/L size (standard frame size goes out the window with compact geometry as it was a measurment from bottom bracket to top tube. Sloping top tubes obviously intersect the seat tube much lower so conventional frame sizing doesn't work). My advice, especially if you are looking for a Giant is go to Buck's Bikes and talk to Chuck about a bike and frame size. He's here on the board as Cbip. Hope this helps. :)
