I just searched for an item a week or so ago and got what I was looking for but there were so many interesting posts that I didn't have time to read them at one time. So today I searched the same item and couldn't get any hits. I tried a few times and still the search couldn't find anything. What's with that?

The built-in search engine is fickle.

Is there a way to sweet talk it? or apologize to it? or should I cheat on it by using a Google search this site button?

It appears the search tool is semi broken. I've just searched for "iphone gps" "gps" and "iphone" as I posted in a thread about iphones yesterday and wanted to keep up with it. Also, "miyata" in the C&V forums got no hits.

"Ride" and "computer" got hits, strangely enough.

Mods, anything we humble minions can do to help out?

I think it may be bipolar. It's almost Valentine's Day...perhaps steak and lobster, wine, chocolate and roses will help. Strap the server in a Burley for a moonlight ride. :love:

Googling will help too.:rolleyes::roflmao2:

Honestly, I google search, something like GPS: Bikeforums.net, or bike tours: bikeforums.net when the search breaks down. Every once in a while, the search engine just decides to develop amnesia and quits indexing, and I have no idea what the event cascade is that triggers it.
