I ride an 08 Colnago ARTE.. it is aluminum with a carbon rear triangle.. seems to be ..very solid frame and seems to be very stiff and an excellent rig for me...( (I have about 8k miles on it)
however, I hear a pretty loud pop..when i stand and push hard on the pedals. either small or big ring.. tring to fix this i have replace the crank with a new sram rival crank.. with a sram bb.. I have installed and reinstalled it.. I have checkd all the chainring bolts.. and i have tightend the derailure hanger bolts both front and back.. ... I have also just upgraded wheels.. and the issue didnt change..
its driving me nuts.. any pedaling i do under 80% of max effort its smooth as silk.. but when i really stomp on it it pops.. when i start down on the drive side.... i cannot feel it in my feet or my hands..but it is pretty loud.. . any suggestions.. or am i going to have to take it to my my LBS.??
