Hi

I just joined today, I’ve been biking for years but since my mate had knackered my old bike, I haven’t been biking in a few years and I have just purchased a new MTB to get started again.
I’m working in a supermarket part-time while training to become a pilot in the UK. I’m interested in all types of bike sports and aspects.

Welcome to Bike Forums, squidie! What bike did you get? Do you have pictures? How does it feel to get back on two wheels? :)

I’ve been itching for a decent ride since I got it in January but the snow in the UK has hit us hard and kept me indoors for the most of it. I’m looking for some downhill courses, there is a custom trials course which is dug out of a quarry very near me, of which I’ll be using.

Wow that sounds like you aren't going to mess around!! I hope the snow melts soon but be careful not to ride in the mud at first.. Does damage to trails. Be careful!
