Twice recently when trying to read messages in the For Sale forum, I have received warnings that my my computer has been attacked. I use Google Reader and so have the option to return to previously safe browsing.

I have unsubscribed from that forum and wonder whether I should be cautious and unsubscribe from Bike Forum subscriptions?

PM me details, please.....what posts, threads, so we have a starting place to look. Also, what Antivirus you are running. Norton, for example ahs been known to have a different definition of worm intrusion than every other AV program, triggering a worm warning if someone has the Danasoft toy in their sig that tells you what browser, etc you are running.....

Thanks!

Let me see if I understand you. I said that I was trying to avoid repeated attacks and your reply that you want me to identify and send you the offending post. That is, not only expose myself to further attack, but also to propagate the attack via email. Is that what you are asking me to do?

just let him know where the problem is so he can take a look. most likely it is nothing and you are severely over reacting.

If I can't look, I can't fix the problem or assess if it's a false positive....

links will suffice. Otherwise, I will need to do a thread by thread check. Time consuming, to say the least, as well as grossly inefficient, when you could at least give me some idea where to look to narrow it down.....

and a PM isn't email, it's a private message through our servers.
