It finally happened to me today. I was in the middle of completing an easy seven miler when I passed a group of people standing outside of a house. All of a sudden I young boy shouted the words that all runners will hear sometime in their running career, “Run Forrest Run”. I could do nothing but laugh and yell back at the crowd with a smile “Boy that is original” to which the crowd erupted in laughter.

Does anyone else have a good story about being heckled while running or working out?

I hear "run fatty" all the time.... Of course, it's usually me shouting it to myself... :o

Last week, somewhere within the first mile of my usual 6 mile run, two fatties who were obviously drunk, stumbling around, laughing and giggling at something, pointed and laughed at me. Then one promptly threw up, and without missing a beat, continued laughing and giggling at me.

And this was at about 4:30PM.
