Fixed Gear Freestyle - What is a good frame for doing tricks on?

Hello, i've been looking for a good bike for tricking on for a while. The bike i have is horrible for wheelies and anything involving bringing the front wheel up. i dont want anything like a brooklyn or a Milwaukee frame, just something decent and cheap. any help would be great.

well, i already have a bmx, i just think fixed gear trick are more fun and i also like the feeling of riding around the city on one and if i want to stop and do tricks i can.

not with this bike, people tell me that every time and i do practice a lot but there is just a lot of small things about the bike that make it difficult, i can do wheelies just fine on my friends fbm but those frames are a little expensive

o rly? what frame are you riding?

ones i learned how to wheelie, i haven't had a hard time wheelie-ing on other bikes i tried.. (i tried LOTS)

sorry but it's just hard to believe that you can wheelie fine on another bike just because it's a better and "more expensive" frame :\

It's an old steel german frame, i think one of the big differences is that the distance between the seat tube and the rear wheel is a lot greater than most bikes. i guess any other bike besides mine would be good I'm just having trouble deciding on what to get.

there are no good trick frames for less than $300 new. if you can't pay the price the start looking for one used.

sorry for not saying this i'm looking for a fixed gear frame, yea i know i should get a bmx but i like fixed gears more. something like volume i guess. i'm not really good at tricks right now but good bike does help.

that frame is designed for doing tricks. and its not a bmx so you can go fast

yeah, john prolly told me that it was really good but it would probably be around the same price as a bmw so those two are going to be my two choices i guess.

I do think the recent frames like the cutter or the forthcoming milwaukee are a step in the right direction for the freestyle fixed gear thing. just like bmx came out of riding schwinn stingrays off dirt jumps..this hybrid of track bicycles and bmx will create a new style of bicycle - basically, just a bmx with 700c wheels with the strength that track frames and components simply do not provide.
