I lent my bike to a brother for one night... and the next day he comes back with parts missing. WTF? I don't even know how it happened without him noticing because for the spacer to go... the crank arm should have fallen off. Unless there was never a spacer there... don't remember.

I never had this problem with my old Mongoose Solution Pro in the mid-90s. Just bought this bike as new old stock and I've had to tighten the bolts holding in the cranks pretty much everyday. Is this something that happens to all 3-pc cranks? I'm wondering if my original Mongoose Solution Pro had one piece cranks or 3-pc cranks since I NEVER had to tighten the crank arms.

Anyway so what I'm missing is the bolt that connects the crank arm to the axle. And possibly a spacer between the non-sproket/chainwheel crank arm and the bearing assembly in the bottom bracket (if there was ever one, there certainly is space for one...).

Are these nuts and spacers interchangeable with other sets? Or am I totally out of luck since this bike is no longer made (most likely the crank set as well). Will I have to buy a new crank set or will I be able to find thse pieces at the LBS? Thanks in advance...

You should have no problem finding what you need at the LBS.
