o and the rotor is 6" i was hoping for a 8 " but o well...... should i get ride of the first deriarlier and ptu a bash guard on?

i think he means...should i get rid of the f/D and run it wiht a bash guard.
my response is....keep the F/D and run it for the 2 smaller rings. You can still run a bash guard in there.

O.k., that makes sense, and I agree, get a bash guard for outside and run two chainring set-up!

The Hayes Mechanical disc brakes are great. Some people say that i should get rid of the f/d because it will come off when i do hardcore riding like tear off. hmmm o well, I guess i could keep it
