I've seen some really far out posts here on Foo that I thought had no chance in... of getting an answer, yet sure enough, someone comes through. So with that in mind, I figured I'd toss this one out there and see if anyone has some expertise in this area:

I have a 1994 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Congo Square poster. Not the main J&H poster, but the Congo Square specific poster. It doesn't fit us anymore, so we're looking into selling it. Problem is, I cant find anything online to give me an idea of how much it might be worth.

So... anyone know anything about the Jazz Fest posters or where I might look online to get in the ball park?

(will post a picture in a while)

I haven't a clue about the value, but I know a little lunch diner that many of us from work would frequent had a lot of those type posters. They may be willing to buy it or if you don't get an answer here, even be able to give you an idea on the value (a 'long shot').

If interested PM me and I'll dig up the name and info.

I luv’s the Jazz Festival and New Orleans. Google Enoch’s Gallery New Orleans. I've seen a lot of older Jazz Festival/Congo posters there and I've bought an older Mardi Gras poster there. They may have one for sale which would give you a retail value. They would know the value of it in any case. Some of the Jazz and Congo posters can be worth a lot of money depending on the artist, if it’s numbered and signed and especially if it’s an artist proof and signed.

Thanks, all. I've looked at ebay and even Enoch's. No joy. I can't find the 1994 edition anywhere!

Thanks, jsharr. I googled that plus a couple of dozen variants. Not sure why that link didn't come up for me. Makes you wonder if google serves up search results based on your usage or location or something so we all get something different from the same search??? :twitchy:

I think I did an image search to find the image using that term, and then worked back to the site from there. I have been told numerous times I should go pro as a google searcher. Anyone know how to do that?

I never said there weren't risks involved. Your secret is safe. Sorta.

Condition seems to be everything with posters so if you check ebay, et al keep that in mind. Mint could fetch far more than even the slightest signs of wear.
