Cateye V3 is acting weird.

It won't pick up the signal for speed or cadence, but does pick up bpm's for the heart rate monitor. Magnets and sensors are set up right. I even tried to resync the signal but no dice.

Another thing is, after a certain time, the speed, HRM, and cadence lines should disappear when the computer is not being used. This usually happens but lately they've been staying on.

Anyone come across similar problems with either a V3 or any other computer?

Are you sure the batteries are good in the speed transducer? Or it could just be a faulty transducer.

Ahhh, I found an easily overlooked reset button on the sensor. Pressed that with a pen tip, started riding and it picked up the mph and cadence. Let it sit and it shut off properly.

All good.
