Has anybody worked with a LBS in Atlanta that has worked with clydes? It would be nice if they were on the south side of Atlanta but can't be too picky.

For LBS south of ATL check out Epic Bikes www.epicbicycles.com (http://www.epicbicycles.com) they are in McDonough. They spent a lot of time since with me since this was my first "real" bike and I'm very happy with the purchase and follow up support

I don't think that you can go wrong with http://www.outback-bikes.com

I bought my Surly LHT there and had a good experience.

OK - I am not sure about Clydes vs Non-Clydes, but my favorite mechanic is at Contes in Conyers. They are very nice! tell them Sue form C4 sent you :)

I have had a great customer-LBS relationship with Bicycle South in Decatur. Just today I purchased a new bike from them after they helped me find a bike that fit my needs (Giant Seek 2: Clyde-friendly construction, hydraulic discs, solid front fork, decently wide 27-speed gearing, braze-ons and bolt holes compatible with non-disc pannier racks, and the ability to attach most trailers).

The guys there really know their stuff. They can be a bit pricey, especially on their maintenance services, but it's both cheaper than operating a car and high-quality work.

Good luck.
