I have been using my mountain bike for commuting for a month now. Last Saturday I saw a road bike that I like but I can't afford it. I bargain with the boss there and finally he agree to sell it to me for RM 260 (USD 70) with the condition that i do all the assembling myself.

So my friend carried it to his house and we do all the assembling there. After a day it was sent to my house and I continue the assembling. And I finish it last night.

Today I will test it and see how good is a road bike comparing with a MTB.

This road bike is rather old. I think it has been kept in the store for 5 years. And it is rather heavy. But I am happy to have it.

Congrats! I wouldn't care if a new road bike had been sitting around for 5 years or not... 70 bucks is a great price for a bike. Congrats on your new commuter!

Happy riding! :)

Congrats on the new bike! My commuter is a 12 year old road bike. I've assembled and disassembled it several times and I love it. Don't forget to post some pictures.
