Advocacy & Safety - blinkers

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hmmmmm.....
Not sure where to get them but that's a real good idea. I'll have to do some Googling.

Wow. just noticed this shop is right here in Indy. I may have to go check these lights out.
My friend had a set on his bike when we were like 12, so I'm sure they are still available somewhere.

SpraWL-Mart had these at one point. My brother got it and it was very dim, barely visible in daytime.

Drivers expect hand signals. You're better off wearing gloves with reflective backs. Visible day and night, bigger, no maintenance or batteries.

-- I don't mean to discourage your good intention, but as a (mostly) motorist, I don't think I would notice turn signals on a bicycle. Hand signals are most noticeable when I'm driving.
