is it possibel to cut off carbon fiber handlebars without doing any damage to them??
Not really. I don't recommend it, but if you have to... push on the hacksaw blade, don't pull.
I wouldn't recommend f*ing with your bars Man... I broke a set of Brahma's on launch over Lake Powhatan Dam, and ended up 10' in the air with one side of my bars hanging down to the axle of my front tire. Needless to say, I crashed upon landing and ended up tumbling around 30 feet before I came to a stop.... I was tore-up from head to toe with that crash... Never again will I own a Brahma bar nor a super lite weight bar... It's just not worth a wreck IMO...

Pay 15$ for a decent set of pipe cutters. When it comes to CF I wouldn't use a hacksaw.

So what you are saying is that it is possibel to cut them without doing any damage to them??
Or better say they won't cause an accident?

You can cut CF with the proper tool. Otherwise the slightest fracture or slip could cause real damage. I wouldn't try cutting CF with a hacksaw. Leave that for real materials like steel or aluminum.

Not a CF fan Maelstorm?
Here's some helpful tips from our friends over at Easton (http://www.eastonbike.com/downloadable_files/r&d_files/R&D-05-Carbon.pdf).

No.
Wow...no is too short haha...I am only adding this so I can post the reply...but quite simply...no
Of course you can cut the ends of a carbon bar.
How do you think they are made? Yup, they cut the ends to the right size.
Just be careful, follow directions, clean ALL that dust up and don't breath the carbon dust!
