Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries - 1991 Schwinn World Sport

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I've come upon a 1991 Schwinn World Sport and I'm wondering what it is worth.
VGC
Can't have been ridden 200 miles.
All stock, including the tires.
No rust
Paint has only a few blems.
Wheels true
Double-butted Chrome-Moly frame
FD Shimano Tourney
RD Shimano 552 SIS
shifters Shimano 552 SIS
crank Shimano 300EX 52/40 biopace
cassette Shimano Hyperglide 7-speed
$150 to $175 +/-. As described as a very clean bike, and one that fits you. This would be what I call full market price around here.

I agree with wrk101. That would be the pricing in the Cleveland Ohio area too. I have sold World Sports in good/VGC condition for $150 very quickly on Craigslist in the past.

Thanks for your input!
Did you check it out? or...
It's a 58 and I'm a 56. I was impressed with the ride. But no, I didn't go for it due to the fit.
Those Biopace rings are crazy! Didn't notice them on the ride, but to see them from the side...:twitchy:
