WOW!! i have a few points of learned knowledge!

1.) if you have a problem controlling your eating... DON'T OWN A RESTAURANT! LOL
2.) It's a sad day when the last time you worked out was walking up some steps
3.) Backsliding is far more painful that just staying fat!

So here i am! i'm back... worse for wear but ready to get back on the riding wagon..(heck the excercise wagon!) I have been so freaking busy that i messed up my routines... i'll be going on a National tour soon
for a music project i'm working on and plan to bring my Bike.. (Chicago, Nyc , Nashville, Miami , Dallas, Austin , L.A , San Fran and Seattle are the stops.. perhaps i'll be able to get in a short ride with some of you.

The whole Chicago to L.A thing was put on hold until my riding partner finished her undergrad at Purdue..
it kinda worked out becasue i'm to busy now.. and totally out of shape!

Thanks for being inspiration again!! all i had to do was start reading the site! Keep up the good work everyone! Thank You!

Take the bike with you. There are bike trails everywhere around the U.S., you just need to post up and see what is avaialble in the area you are going to be landing during the tour stops.

Have fun, ride hard!!!

Amen! I too have taken a huge backslide since the ice and snow risk damaging my deraillieur (1.5 inch clearance). A few hours of walking a week and couple hours of swimming just don't make up for 12+ hours of cycling a week.

I've started digging out and getting back on the wagon. It helps with the arrival of a trainer for my little 'bent. I did 40 minutes on it just now and it has helped to put me in a whole new frame of mind. I feel upbeat and positive about my cycling this summer and my odds of weight loss in general.

Fingers crossed it sticks for all of us.

Go Chunky Go! Come on into our Biggest Loser Thread and post your goals for the week. On the road will be tough - but the more times I eat a 6i nch chicken with mustard (no oil, etc) sub at Subway the better off I am... It aint food - just fuel for the body. OK most the time it's food- but when I hit subway - it's really all about having something I am satisifed with on the road.

So hang in and keep riding. PM me if this musical thing is something I could go see - I am in Chiocago and Atlanta.
