How can you tell an X2 pedal from the other two just by looking at it? I just received my X2 pedals that I bought on Ebay and even though the box they come in says X2 I want to be sure I'm getting what I paid for. I got them at a darn good price at least.

Bobsled,
I have X2s my wife X3s so heres the deal.
The X1 is titanium and has that greyish cast of Ti.
The X2 is a Stainless spindle, unpolished metal.
The X3 pedal has CrMo Black painted (?) spindle.
There are also differences in the colour of the actual pedal.
My X2s are brownish (hey I'm colour blind what do I know?):D
The X3s are darker, maybe black.
hope this helps,
Marty

I picked up a set of X3s from REI. I think the platform on mine is tan. Who knows maybe I got X2s. I will take a look at them when I get home.
