I will be riding in the Alberta Ride to Conquer Cancer this June to honour the memory of my mother who lost her battle with Cancer 5 years ago. The ride is a 200 km ride over 2 days through the Canadian Rocky Mountains. As an additional motivation for people to donate, I have promised to ride my Surly 'Darth' Pugsley (and it's 4" tires) in the ride if I can raise over $5000.
Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at the Alberta Cancer Foundation, a leader in cancer research and treatment.
