I only have some of the Love2Pedal bike shorts (Falconi), which work fine for me (the sizing is a bit larger than normal).

I have several jerseys. I tend to pick them for their visibility, but they're also useful for the pockets!

Most of mine are PrimalWear, but I've picked up a couple at local organized rides as well.

I need to find a couple of long-sleeved ones for these colder days.

I have 3 jerseys from LOVE 2 Pedal. "Old Farts Cycle Club" and "Ride" both made by Suarez the third is a plain jersey made by Falconi which is too big the two Suarez fit perfect and they are all the same size.:giver:

I have several jerseys myself. Sizing is all over the place though. I have 1 medium in Primal Wear, and 1 Voler club cut that is a large. Everything else is X large " race fit" jerseys. I find that you need to go up at least one size bigger then normal for anything listed as race fit. The Love2Pedal store has a lot of Primal Wear, which is Clyde friendly if you get the bigger cut. A lot of jerseys only come in race fit, so check things out before you buy.

I got a couple that I found in resale shops. A large black and blue jersey that's a little too small and a XLarge red and white one. both were under $10.

I think I need to look into a jersey. the cotton T just isn't working, it gets soaked and stays soaked.

However, i dress to minimize my size....as neat as the mushroom cloud jersey looks, I'd never wear such a shirt. I'm sure I'm not alone among the clydesdale set.

so...plain jerseys with a clyde fit?

I can feel the hate mail now.
There's a "Old Farts Cycling Team" jersey with the spoked wheel logo in the center.
The spoked wheel is the logo on the jerseys of the club I cycle with (and, yes, most are over 55)

I will say that even within the range of decent jerseys I've bought, there are differences in wicking which are noticeable when you drip dry the jerseys after washing.

In that vein, the order of drying is

1. Old bargain Assos CSC irregular jersey, almost the same drying time as
2. Giordana Competitive Cyclist and Brooklyn jerseys

bit of distance down to

3. Pearl Izumi Slice and Focus jerseys.

All of them good, all of them stink like crap after you wear them once, and all of them wick like crazy.

It may not be everyone's preference, but I vastly prefer a full zip where possible... makes peeing in bibs easier, and also helps on really hot days.

As to sizing, Clyde just means a single number, and while I'm over 2 bills, I'm also over 6 feet tall. If you're 5'4" and 225, your sizing isn't the same as someone 6'10" and 225... it's a bit of a personal thing, but once you find one line that fits you, you can start just buying them mail order without thinking much about it.

I have one I got from them that says 'Cranky Old ******* Bike Club' and LOVE it. It's well made, the payment and shipping was flawless, and the shirt gets lots of attention from other riders and passers by.

REI online. Search for mens extended sizes. They usually have one or two, at good prices and Clyde sizes. I too rode with the cotton shirts, and did not know how bad it was until I got a real jersey. Also keep an eye on their tech tee sales. Sometimes they mark them down from $20 to less than 5 bucks.

Really? My Primal Wear (http://www.primalwear.com/) jerseys seem to last forever between washings, unlike most of my other cycling clothes. Their styles range from sedate to outlandish. Personally, I prefer the more sedate jerseys which are still more stylish than the really bland stuff you'd get at Performance or Nashbar. For me, their sizing chart was spot-on. It says I should wear an XL and the size is perfect; fits close to the body but not so tight that I look like an over-stuffed sausage. Jerseys are a bit pricey, but if you get on their mailing list they send out some pretty decent coupons on a fairly regular basis. There have been some pretty good sales at their outlet recently, too.

Highly recommended.

I agree my jerseys don't smell even after the longest rides, and they are always dry even in the heat of south FL.

I bought a Luv2Pedal jersey off of ebay recently (a 5XL Old Fart Cycling Team) and am quite happy with the design, but will say that I wear 3XL from Aerotech. Big size difference. Nice quality. I just wish it were 2 inches taller, but I'm tall in the torso.

I bought a pair of baggy cycling shorts from love2pedal.
They were a decent buy.
I like the Primal Wear jersey designs quite a bit.

The only actual jersey I own is a fatcyclist jersey that Fatty at fatcyclist.com and the folks at Twin Six produce.
Appropriate since I'm a clyde.

I have some experience with jerseys from Luv2Pedal.

Two years ago, I ordered 15 of the "Old Fart" jerseys of various sizes and gave them to all my cycling buddies (and gals!) over 50, that ride in our group.

Their service was great and any sizing exchanges went smoothly. The jerseys were in a "club" cut, so they are not quite as aero and tight as some others, but they seemed to run just a tad smaller than usual. I usually wear XL, so I had to use the XXL size to fit. The graphics are done well and we get many compliments on the design. They also have the long front zipper and 3 good rear pockets. In all our use the past couple years, I've not heard of any failures or issues with anyone's in our group. Seems to be a good value, especially since I got mine on sale!! Good luck!!
