it's nice, but the painted fork on a chrome bike looks really weird since it is the opposite of what you would usually see.

I actually disagree. The white matches the decals, and isn't the fork crown chrome? (I can't see it here at work).

I want a track bike like this, but I have no justification for buying one at the moment. Plus at this level, it's cheaper to just buy the bike complete.
