For anyone who saw Bob Power's Swan frame on fixed gear gallery
http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2004/b/power.htm

there's a hot pink one available on ebay

The frame's a tad small for me, otherwise I'd scoop it.

ps. I have a lengthy email from Bob that I can PM if anyone's interested. He had some problems mounting a front brake. but appears to have solved the problem. According to Bob, the vendor may have more than one frame so if this goes, try emailing him via his ebay email.

And as someone who doesn't watch TV, I just had to find a picture of that...
What can I say that hasn't already been said?

I got the pink one a few months back and i'm slowly building it up fixed. funds is the biggest problem. i still need spokes, tires, tubes, BMX brake lever, and crank arm bolts (and maybe a ~38t chainring).

I'll post pictures when I'm done.

pink swan
black MKS track pedals with steel toe clips (both NJS stamped)
custom cut bullhorns w/ black keirin grips
shimano 600 crankset, 170mm (42t and BMX bolts)
basic suzue track flip flop hubs
Sun 'Mistral Aero' M14A rims 700 (no braking surface)
dura-ace 13t 3/32" cog and lockring
selle nitrox saddle (looks fairly painful, so that may be upgraded if i ever become employed again).

any suggestions or feedback? where is a good place to purchase cheep spokes (36 288mm and 36 292mm)? does anybody know what length bottom bracket i should get? i think i have a 109.5 and the left arm is dangerously close to the frame. i was thinking of getting something around 115

oh, and this bike will probably be for sale once it is complete.

Man, that is tempting. Now I've got to just got to come up with a convincing reason for it.

That same guy has been selling those frames by the dozens on ebay for several months at least.

I haven't seen any up recently and I know Bob got a lot of queries about his, so I thought I'd post it up. Bob has the guy's email if anyone's interested in seeing if he has another. You can contact Bob via his email on the fixedgeargallery site (bike 824).
