Are a great upper body exercise. I recently bought the Iron Gym chin up bar. I was a bit worried at first, thinking it would mess up the door frame or the molding. But I have used it for 2 weeks 3X/wk and all is well. Not a bad way to spend $29 IMO.
Just thought someone might appreciate the review/experience.
Don't forget you need to balance muscular development or you can run into trouble.

I think complimenting pull-ups with push-ups and dips (all available with that machine, right?) gives you a well-rounded upper body workout.

I have one similar to that. Well worth the money. I've added to its versatility by getting a couple of cable pull handles(http://www.amazon.com/Champion-Barbell-Single-Chrome-Attachments/dp/B001F7DL9O/ref=sr_1_27/185-3578075-7747647?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1235181892&sr=1-27), a couple of lengths of chain, and hardware(quick links to attach the chain to the handles & hinged links to allow me to vary the length of the chains easily.) Gymnastics rings & straps would work, too. Gives you a lot more dips, push-ups, and rowing options. Abs-work like L-sits, too. Stabilizing the handles/rings adds a whole new dimension to bodyweight exercises.

I loved mine, which I used until I got a power cage. It didn't mess up the door frame at all, and I really liked the perpendicular handles that let you do pullups with forearm rotation. It was great for pushups too. Very versatile, and definitely worth the 30 clams.

I couldn't do dips with mine without building a cross piece in the doorframe - oh yeah, my wife would have just loved that! But without the dips, you won't get as much direct pecs work- you need push for that, and pullups and chins are both pulls. Even so, pulls are great for the lats and delts, and chins for the bis and delts.

I own this machine and find that the dips feature isn't all that great. You get a little, but not a ton of movement. Beyond that it's great though!
