I've seen a small cycle light that recharges from normal batteries.
Once off the cycle it clips to an AA to recharge.
Anyone got any idea what it might be ?
TIA.

Whats the advantage of charging up an internal battery off an an external battery?
As opposed to the usual approach of a removable battery that can be either disposable or charged in a normal charger?
Seem's like they're putting in an extra inconvenient step...

It's so they can boast of creating a very small cycle light and you get the benefit of having to charge it every 2 or 3 days.

It was about the low lumen output of the lights.

Wow... that's almost-exactly the system used on the Photon ReX camping LED light (http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/photon_light_rex.html) that's been out for a couple of years. I wouldn't trust the ReX to light my path, but it's MORE than bright enough to be noticed.

I was only interested in how the Flea made the charge connections.
:)
I haven't got any interest in buying a light who's main feature is 'Wow, that's small'
I've got a knog rear light, a set of Raleigh Power Beams and some Backupz (none of which will ever get used) your average blinky is much better, just fit more of them for redundancy......
