I don't understand. Doesn't everyone have a 5 inch light bucket, 10x42, 10x50, 15x70 or a 30x80 mounted on a tripod? Houses come with 5 bookcases I am sure. There are 4 seasons so you need at least 4 bikes. So?

Great find, Louis. I really enjoyed reading that. Although I'm thinking of suing Pilderwasser for copying some of my work. Or more likely we'll just sit around the clean, well-lighted shop drinking sangria and talking about bicycle bullfighting (a new sport).--Ernest H.

Lance Armstrong's shop in Austin Texas is a near description of that shop in the OP... the biggest difference is that the shop is open, and is selling goods.

I went in there last September and just fell in love... it was a dream shop.

The first floor had a wide array of wonderful bikes, and some beautiful displays... along with some "art bikes" on the walls and in the windows (check out the bike over the door in the photo below).

This was the first shop I have ever seen that had a display of Brooks saddles and support stuff... I bought a Brooks care kit on the spot.

Downstairs was shop space and classroom space. Have you ever seen classroom space in a bike shop. Oh it was so beautiful... a mecca for cyclists if there ever was one. There was a coffee shop in one corner, and no doubt, a fridge stocked with beer for friends/preferred customers hidden somewhere. :D
