Hi, I am restoring a 1987 Trek 560 Pro and I'm stuck. I have a campy (victory) crank and I can't figure out what size bottom bracket it needs. Here are some pictures:

I know the width is 68 mm, but I can't figure out the length for the life of me. I've been to Sheldon Brown's site, but his section on Campy bottom brackets is sparse. Does anyone know what length bottom bracket I'll need for this project?

Campy square taper double 68 X 115 or 118 mm's should do it. Lp

Sounds about correct. Remember, Campy uses ISO not JIS taper BB's.

FWIW, attached has a reference table on campy cranks form late 70s through 87 (need to page down a bit). It only seems to cover NR, SR and Gran Sport, so Victory may be different, but the era is same as your bike so perhaps this will be helpful. http://www.bicycleclassics.com/bottom.html

thanks for your help guys. i checked out that link dos, and found out the spindle size is 109 mm (i think). this sounds right because their section on cranks lists victory cranks as 109 mm, too. now i just have to find it on ebay.
