I have toured a few 300km day brevets and sometimes have a problem with eating after about the 120 mile mark ...especially if the air temp is above 85. I'm usually riding between 10k and 14k feet, so the 85 degrees can feel like 100. I've been looking at training a little with the Extran juice packs because it has all the digestive enzymes already in it. My thinking is that after a 120 miles combined with the heat, my tummy doesn't want to do it's job anymore. If I feed it the enzymes with the food, then maybe it will do the trick? I dunno because it's hard telling not knowing. Anyone have any experience with this product or similar products?

Extran drink boxes work well IMO.

I've used them for longer road races with good results and don't worry about a bad reaction or upset stomach.

For quick refueling near the end of a race, an Enervit 60ml drink packet will also do wonders. Combined with Enervit GT tablets, I've experienced no early season leg cramps at the end of races when everything heats up.
