Road Cycling - No!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
My friend, we call him Sandman, is getting ride of his 2001 top of the line Allez, for 700 bucks!!!!! He said it's a little to big for him and it hurts his knees, so he's just trying to get rid of it! I wish I had 700 bucks! It is full 105, plus a specialized computer.

Not too sure about being top of the line, but what size is it?
52 cm Large...It's the blue Allez, not sure which one that is.

The 2001 Allez A1 Elite and the 2001 Allez A1 Sport were both spec'd with 105 components, though neither had the full group. The Elite came with a few Ultegra parts, and the Sport had some house parts. Neither came in blue (according to my catalogue, anyway).
This is, of course, assuming you are talking about the Specialized Allez, which I assumed because I don't know of any other Allez. If it is something else, then just ignore me.
Whatever it is, it sounds like a great deal. Too bad you don't have the green. I know what that's like.

For what it's worth, the 1999 Specialized Allez A1 was blue, and was spec'd with 105. Of course, this information really doesn't matter, and I have way too much time on my hands (which really should be apparent, and not need pointing out).
It's the Allez A1 Sport. I wish I had the money..Oh well, maybe I'll run into a better deal down the road.

:( A little too small for me. I have too many road bikes anyway, I guess. :(

This doesn't help...I'm gonna ask him to take a rain-check..
I knew you were a problem solver, Matt.
I just want to remind you that you are a vital, important, part of a mechanism. A team. You let yourself down, you let the team down. You question yourself and we're all in question.
Now get in there soldier, er biker, and get that bike!

Well guys, as it turns out, my buddy(former boss) Baker, who just recently got a new Cannondale, may sell me his old Bianchi for 50 bucks. He said he'll let me know by Monday.
