Great day on Palomar. Big crowds, balmy weather and plenty of riding. Figured out what to do with all my time once I got there early - keep riding. It was nippy on the summit so we just hammered the climb 2x - both South and East Grades. Got in 7000' of climbing today....the crowds get you so pumped it's a lot of fun to just hammer with the loads of roadies all over Palomar today. Great job San Diego - the riding all over the mountain was insane today.
Hooked up with Jose and Millie from Mexico for the early climb up South Grade. Good, strong climbers and a lot of fun to ride with.

Old man on mountain decides it's a bit cold on summit to just hang around for three hours. We head down East Grade - and get some cold blasts of air on the way.
