Have you ever heard about Bikesnotbombs? They promote bicycle technology as a concrete alternative to war and environmental destruction. BNB recycles old bikes and empowers community in lower income neighborhoods of Boston and in the Global South. And they do a bunch of fun things for bike fans. There will be Bike-A-Thon 2009 held on June 7th, followed by Green Roots Festival with great music, food and environmental workshops. The Bike-A-Thon will have 3 riding routes which you can choose according to your cycling abilities. Any size of donations (no limit at all!) is welcome! Help us make the world a little better!
