Southern California - Hey, SoCal Club Up A Couple of Notches on BJ!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Beanz, you might not want to use that acronym for Bike Journal. The newbs might get the wrong impression of you.

Ok I added my miles to the "Club" so we are up to 12th but still a long ways out of top 5.

In case you were wondering what we are talking about, go to http://www.bikejournal.com and log your miles then add So Cal BikeForums as your 'Primary' club.

Now that Turtle45 (Greg) isn't planning on putting in 17,000+ miles in like last yeat, that may put a dent in our meager effort to move up in the standings.

Well, I log my miles in Bike Journal but have been putting them under Commuter Century Cycling club. Most of my rides are daily 25 to 30 miles round trip commutes. Last year I posted a total of about 7400 miles. Can my miles count towards the total of just one club, or can they accumulate with both if I list both SoCal Bike Forums and Commuter Century club?

WCD, good advice on acronym use. Oh, I used an acronym instead of WhiteCarbonDude, but no worry, it won't be mistaken for something else, unlike the acronym for bike journal.

Z, only your "primary" club gets credit for your miles, just add SoCalBikeForums (http://www.bikejournal.com/clubs_edit.asp?clubID={18BB041C-EDDB-4A84-BA57-4135C4F18884**) as one of your clubs and make it primary. You can still be part of both clubs.

Ok, I entered my Jan and Feb mileage :thumb:. Dig this up in a couple of months and I'll add another couple of months worth.

I added all my rides for this year, which puts us over 20k miles so far (#1 in CA). I can't seem to get it to rank all clubs. What am I doing wrong?

edit: nevermind, I found it. We're #8 now!!!
