I have been using these pants for the first time this winter and have been impressed:

They come with a polyester type of liner that makes them very snug and toasty. I wear them in 15-30F weather and find them always very warm compared to just nylon pants and long john under thermals.

Are they stretchy at all?

Nope, they are basically 100% thick wool pants.
