Not sure about the spelling.
Tore my gastroc muscle last night coaching volleyball. Now I am out for a few weeks. The temperatures were supposed to be great on Wednesday and I was planning on a long 40 - 60 mile bike ride. Now, I am probably out for a few weeks. And stairs are a killer.

I just strained a similar muscle last year from simply sneezing. I could barely bend over to tie my shoes. Luckily for me it only lasted a couple weeks. The pain was so sharp though the first couple days i thought for sure i had a hernia.

I was out for the rest of the volleyball season the last time. This time I was only coaching and teaching how to block, so I wasn't jumping my maximum otherwise I think it would be a lot worse. I sure hope for a quick recovery.
