Bicycle Mechanics - which zinn book to buy?

i have a redline model 520 hybrid bike and want to buy one of zinn's repair books. which one would i buy for my hybrid. zinns mountain bike book or zinn's road bike book.

I have a Zinn Mountain bike book and it has helped me build and maintain my bike for 9 years. I thin a hybird would be closer to a mountain bike in its set up handlebars , shifters, brakes and most other things.
best money I've spent for bikes - has saved me thousands of dollars in repair, building , wheel building etc.

Actually, either of them would probably be just fine. Your hybrid shares some of the same style components as a mountain bike, such as twist shifters. But much of the basic information is going to be pretty much the same in both books. The biggest difference in the two is going to be the amount of information regarding suspension, tubeless tires, etc... in the mountain bike book. I am only assuming however, that your 520 has a suspension fork, which by the way, at that level is most likely not going to be very serviceable, but I don't know that as a fact. What kind of repair work are you interested in learning? Lennard's books are quite comprehensive, which is good, and I would certainly recommend any of them. If you are looking for the "basics" either book will give you that and a ton more.

yes my bike has a front suspension.
as far as what i need the book for, i just want it handy if jobs that don't require advanced tools and advanced knowledge have to be done.
