Hi guys,
Just got my nice shiny sks mudguards and have fitted the rear one using the same eyelets as my rack. However the front one has problems getting around my disc brake. As you can see in the picture the correct hole to use is the bottom red one, even with a standoff the metal stays are still too close to bend properly and thus prevent the brake from returning to their neutral position. Now I was thinking about using the eyelet that the stays are in in the picture but this will involve lots of cutting and bending.
My questions:
Which would be better to use, the yellow eyelet (which the brake is currently attached to - i.e. put the stay on the outside and keep the brake on the inside) or the one it is currently it?
If I use the one it is currently in, should I do the same on the other side too?
Thanks
Daven
