F'ing Woodside police! Just got a ticket at Canada and Jefferson. The patrol car doesn't stay on Jefferson anymore but sits in the driveway past the stopside going southbound. The car's blocked from view by bushes. Be careful out there...

Sorry to hear it. What was the ticket for? Running a stop sign on Canada?

Everyone who's been around a while knows that's one of the places they lurk. Sorry you got busted, but that's a place to always stop, no matter what. Even without the cop it's a good idea to stop, since cars making a left from Jefferson will often swing wide into the bike lane.

The corner of Portola and Alpine is another one. There's a woodside motorcycle cop who sometimes lurks in the bushes there.

I just saw the Sherriff pull a cyclist over on Woodside Road just east of Canada. It looks like they are having a crack down on cyclists.

They are cracking down on all stop sign runners, not just bicyclists. I see lots of cars and motorcycles get busted there, too. The residents in the nearby houses are probably very vocal in their complaints about safety at those intersections.
