I posted a week or so ago that I got a great deal on a Fuji Cross Pro on closeout. Just thought I'd share a couple pics and my first impressions:
I like it! I've been on 2 short rides. Temps in the 20s below my comfort level for a longer ride. The first one was disappointing. It was obvious that the LBS did NOT spend a lot of time assembling the bike. I had to take it back to adjust the derailleurs, brakes, and true the wheels. 2nd ride was a 6 mile ride for my high intensity interval workout. The geometry feels great and somewhat relaxed. Even with the knobby tires the ride was still pretty quick, but not as quick as with my roadie obviously. Even the saddle doesn't feel bad, but it will probably end up getting a specialized Alias like my c'dale has. It has an ultegra/da mix on but don't think it shifts that much smoother than the Tiagra on my c'dale. I just mounted a set of new 25C armadillo road tires on it yesterday and I will probably be doing a 20ish mile ride tomorrow. Next on my list is to convert the c'dale to a 10 speed drivetrain so I can swap tires back and forth easily. Then I will get a set of Deep-V's so I can have one set up with knobbies and one set up with road tires. This will probably be my "do everything" bike and I may set it up with a rack so I can safely haul my camera around for some photography practice. :)
I love the way the bike looks too! I wish I was as in love with the looks on my c'dale!
