I posted a week or so ago that I got a great deal on a Fuji Cross Pro on closeout. Just thought I'd share a couple pics and my first impressions:

I like it! I've been on 2 short rides. Temps in the 20s below my comfort level for a longer ride. The first one was disappointing. It was obvious that the LBS did NOT spend a lot of time assembling the bike. I had to take it back to adjust the derailleurs, brakes, and true the wheels. 2nd ride was a 6 mile ride for my high intensity interval workout. The geometry feels great and somewhat relaxed. Even with the knobby tires the ride was still pretty quick, but not as quick as with my roadie obviously. Even the saddle doesn't feel bad, but it will probably end up getting a specialized Alias like my c'dale has. It has an ultegra/da mix on but don't think it shifts that much smoother than the Tiagra on my c'dale. I just mounted a set of new 25C armadillo road tires on it yesterday and I will probably be doing a 20ish mile ride tomorrow. Next on my list is to convert the c'dale to a 10 speed drivetrain so I can swap tires back and forth easily. Then I will get a set of Deep-V's so I can have one set up with knobbies and one set up with road tires. This will probably be my "do everything" bike and I may set it up with a rack so I can safely haul my camera around for some photography practice. :)

I love the way the bike looks too! I wish I was as in love with the looks on my c'dale!

Nice lookin' bike! How much does it weigh? What size tires are currently on it?

Yeah... very nice! I don't like the style of a lot of new bikes, but that has plenty!

Very sharp looking bike. The Armadillos might be overkill depending on your riding conditions though. You might get more than adequate flat protection from nicer rolling kevlar belted tires like Continental Contacts or Gatorskins.

Sweet ride man! Pitty the LBS didn't spend more time on it first time around, hopfully they took care of it without any hassle.

It's noticeably heavier than my CAAD9. I think Fuji lists it as 22lbs with the 700x32 tires on it.

The Ultegra/DA would go really nicely with the C'dale as well. If you ever consider swapping gruppos.

I'm in the process of upgrading the C'dale to Ultegra so that both of my bikes are 10 speed so I can easily swap rear wheels.

A local shop has a couple of those on closeout for like $700 or so I think... if only I had room (and budget hah) for another bike.

what size is that, and how tall are you? (my guess -- it's a 58 and you're 6'1)

You're pretty dang close. I'm 6'0" and the frame is a 56. My C'dale is a 58 though.

Congrats on the bike purchase - that is definitely one sweet looking bike. 'Cross bikes can be very practical, and I think I see a rack or fender eyelet on the back.

I really dig the whole braking system. Is it all stock, the way it is? Ultegra? Where can I get the interuptors?

It's all stock. The only thing I did to the bike was take off the reflectors and the ugly decals on the wheels. The brakes themselves and the interuptors are actually TekTro. The interuptors have a model number of "RJ 720" from what I can tell.
