View Full Version : Indoor Riding Article
There's a really good article on the web that answers a lot of questions that have been asked around the forums lately.

I could have used that a month or two ago!
It may still prove helpful though, as Old Man Winter is threatening to come out of his unseasonable coma again...

Very good article with some good points.
I ride the rollers 4-5 times a week but I have never thought about getting on and off in the middle of a ride to take a breather like you would when weight training. I always just spin between intervals like I would on the road. I might have to give this new idea a try and see what happens. I think it could help alleviate some of the boredom by looking at smallers sets of riding. I figure I can get off and stretch my legs out before the next set and maybe throw in a set of abs while I'm at it.

Yes, getting off the bike sometimes like in a weight workout helps a bit. The group I train with indoors consists of trackies, like the article mentions, so we're used to resting inbetween intervals like at the track.
