Bicycle Mechanics - Brake caliper upgrade help

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I own a 2007 Felt F55 and was looking to upgrade my brake calipers. Currently I have, according to the Felt website specs, Shimano Super Dual Pivot. They simply have "Shimano" printed on them. I am considering upgrading to Ultegra or Dura Ace and doing the work myself. I have Dura Ace dual control brake levers/shifters.
Would this be a pretty straight forward swap out---or are there some hidden "issues" that I need to beware of?
Thanks.

Should be straightforward.

You can put any brake on it except Campagnolo. Shimano Ultegra has the best value.

Not sure what you'd gain with a caliper upgrade, other than a little lighter. If you want better stopping, I'd try different pads first, like Kool Stops.
