I see that Tyler is attempting a come back and has started advertising for contributions to his foundation. http://www.tylerhamilton.com/cms/mission Has anyone had dealings with his foundation in the past? Do you think it has made any impact in MS treatment?

The only involvement I have had is to ride in the Boston version of the MS ride, from Quincy to Provincetown. Tyler was there at the start and rode some of the ride with a (very large) group. Unfortunately, I did not get to ride or chat with him as he was basically swamped with his fans. I do think any fund raising efforts to raise money for MS research is a good thing. Has it made an impact? I'm not sure anyone not directly involved with MS itself could make that judgement. I guess if you feel that making a donation towards MS research is want you want to do, then going through Tyler's organization can't be all bad. In the year that I rode, I raised nearly $1500 in pledges and was very glad I put in the effort to do so, even though I am not directly related with anyone that suffers from MS.

Suzie - your footer says 'I got nothing'.

Let me be the first to point out that isn't all true - you've got great legs! :thumb:

[July 14, 2009] "Dear Diary, it all started as harmless flirtation. Now I can't sleep. I can't eat. Long after I shut down my computer I see her avatar in my mind. I'm jealous every time she talks about a cyclist ... especially the sprinters for some reason. It's Bastille day and I can't even focus on the tour. Let Casar or Chavanel take it. I don't care. Tomorrow for sure, I'm buying that ticket to Boston..."

Geez guys, I guess flattery is the sincerest compliment. Thank you for inflating my ego, I'll go see if I can find something to bring me back to earth. :D
