After owning my "kona colin mcrae" limited edition bike, i have decided to build my own. I was extremely impressed with the 6061 Kona frame that conjunted in with the bike, and have decided to buy another kona frame but with my own parts. I dont want the parts that come with the bike, just the frame itself.
Where would i be able to get this at all, im thinking either a kona roast, kona scrap, or a kona nunu frame. Possibly the Kona cinder cone i havnt decided yet.

Your local Kona dealer can get you a frame only. Online, the only I know that sells frames is www.wheelworld.com

Kona sells frame directy. I can't seem to locate the site though. They have a limited number of frames they release as frame only though.

It seems it isn't an online shop per se. I would email them because I did have a friend get one direct.

Ok ive found a kona dealer, and ive decided to go for the Kona Cinder cone frame not the roast or scrap, as they are for jumping. I do some off road and road so the cinder cone in grey will do me nicely :)

how did you get that frame? i asked kona for a smoke frame and they said they don't sell it alone.. i thought they only sold these http://www.konaworld.com/kw_index.cfm ... i really like the look of the major mike. :)

Some shops will split the bike up if you ask.

I rung up a halford dealer in Bedford "england" they said that they can get just the kona frames themselves.
