Does ANYONE have ANY info on Shimano's forthcoming 8 speed alloy hub.
I read Sheldon Brown's impressions on the commuter version he tried at
the interbike show. Shimano says there's an alloy version to come, which
will be compatible with their STI shifters. I'm jonesin' for this hub and would
sure like any info anyone can give me.

Bikeman in Maine indicates that, sadly, it probably won't be available in the US now until Fall.

It won some design award which some have said has put heavier demand on production.
