I wonder if this is the bike they had at Wheelworks? I weighed it there, 17.22 pounds, and all of them utterly beautiful

Beautiful. But why stop there? What you really want is one of these (http://www.pinarello.com/pics.php?pic=montello_track&w=700&h=450) .

Explain?
CAR (kär) n. Ghastly contraptions designed to to give the illusion of freedom while imprisoning Americans for a majority of their lives.
SHARKING shar·king (shärking) v. To move as if one were a shark.

CarSharking is my new little word to describe riding through heavy traffic. Out here, I frequently have to ride between and around cars, so I get to feeling like I'm a shark in the water. And this shark bites.

p.s. My statement about this bike being perfect for CarSharking was full of sarcasm
SARCASM sar·casm (särkzm) n.
1.A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
2.A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.
3.The use of sarcasm.

Stupid idiot: v) William when he doesn't get it.

pedantic: v) lucklust when he gets a little overzealous showing william how dense william can be.

Ok, I get it. Then, I'm a car shark on occasion to. Though, I preffer blow fish. Cause I've been known to breath deep, and yelll on occasion.

You're getting sloppy. "Pedantic" is correctly spelled.

I intended to that time. Pay attention, I'm not all that easy to predict (unlike skitbra), keep up now.

I do often worry about Navy guys sometimes. Here, the guys on the submarines have this 'initiation ceremony' they affectionately refer to as "Sump in the rump". I won't describe it to you - nobody should have to visualise something like that.

Obviously in the US they have a different type of initiation, probably involving fish and their appendages.

USN submarines. 100 men go down, 50 couples come up.

didn't the phrase "opening a can of worms" come from the can of worms that sailors would take with them for when they got 'lonely'?

[the sailor and the worms would form a somewhat symbiotic relationship...]

or am i making this up based on urban[e] lore?

Symbiotic means both parties benefit, and what those worms were getting, I don't wanna know.

All the references aside: one term I've heard that probably really exist: Two words:

Happy Sock.

'Nuff said about that.

And as far as all the quips go on the US Navy: Y'all can kiss my ass. I've been to Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Thialand, Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico, all up and down the west coast, Iceland, Quatar, Oman, Guam. Soon I'll be going to Peru, Brazil, and Chile. I've drank free beer with people from all over the world and had some pretty dam good adventures. And never paid a dime in transportation, still got a paycheck and didn't have to take time off. So, you can pull jokes all you want, but any of you in the US: your taxes are paying for my education, healthcare, my house, my bikes, and my travels. As they say in Oakland.. don't hate the player, hate the game.

And I know all the ribbing is in the spirit of fun, so I don't take it personal like. If I'm made about anything it was the guy from CM that said "Military types make me puke", as if I don't belong.

Do they have good worms in Iceland?
